In the News: Toyota offers $15K to Ann Arbor PTOs for help in connected-vehicle study

Connecting your vehicle to share information with other Ann Arbor cars could lead to a financial boost for the Ann Arbor school of your choice.

Toyota is partnering with the University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute to encourage more participation in the Ann Arbor Connected Vehicle Test Environment that aims to collect enough data on drivers' habits to help reduce collisions.

"Ultimately, we're working to make the City of Ann Arbor the largest real-world deployment of connected vehicles in the world," said Francine Romine, director of marketing and communications for the institute.
